Geoff Merrill G&W Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The Geoff Merrill Cabernet Sauvignon is a great wine, blended from grapes of the McLaren Vale and Coonawarra. Aged in American & French oak casks for 22 months, this wine displays black olive, menthol, some plum and hints of violets with velvety tannins and fresh acidity. A great accompaniment to vintage cheeses, shared with friends and family!

The colour has excellent depth and is very dark red with hints of crimson. The wonderful varietal aroma immediately noticeable while the blend of McLaren Vale and Coonawarra bringing out the best in this Cabernet showing peppermint, violets, leather, black olive, menthol with toasty vanilla. The palate is fresh and tight with firm tannins, well balanced acid finishes on a clean fresh fruit note.
