What a fabulous wine from the great wine making team at E.Guigal. 100 % Syrah and when was the last time you tried a Syrah from the Côtes du Rhône area in France. with some fabulous age on the wine already, this 2012 was an absolute hit with the team at Jim's. Hence the great rating. Round and supple tannins.
Dark and deep colour. Red fruits, cherry and strawberry with delicate oak aromas. A structured tannic wine. Aromas of blackcurrant buds and vanilla. Remarkable freshness with notable and refined tannins due to long oak ageing.
