Château Saint Georges Saint Emilion Bordeaux 2016

This Fabulous Bordeaux wine  is qwned by Petrus Desbois family since 1891, Source is Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion in a 45 hectare vineyard.

Usiing only sustainable viticulture and  rigorous sorting before de-stemming and cold soak at 10-12c with fermentation in stainless steel at lowish temperature before aging in barrel for 12-14 months with about 30% new oak.

All of the Chateau St Georges wines are aged and bottled in the estate's cellars.

'Chateau Saint-Georges' is the premier label. It's a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. 50% of the oak barrels used for aging are renewed each year, and the wine is aged in the barrels for 15-18 months.
