Domaine Les Pallieres Terrasse du Diable Gigondas 2019
Translates to terrace (or vineyard) of the Devil. The more powerful and muscular of the two Pallieres wines but with balance. Farmed in higher altitude so there is more structured and mineral presence.
grenache 90 %, mourvèdre 5 %, clairette 5 %.
When young, the “Terrasse du Diable” cuvée has the minerality, freshness and sometimes overbearing tannins of high-lying terroirs. The best vintages can age for more than 20 years.
