Wirra Wirra Scrubby Rise Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Very bright and clear with flaxen, grassy highlights. Lively tropical fruits with melon and lemon sorbet. Florals and grassy notes add to the varietal nose. Honeydew melon, lime juice and passionfruit. A bright and refreshing palate with an appealingly light torch.

The name Scrubby Rise comes from the vineyard at the front of the century old ironstone cellars, its rich soils providing some of our best fruit every season. That the Scrubby Rise Vineyard is actually flat and bereft of scrub has never bothered us particularly. Scrubby Rise wines drink well in their youth and are best matched with good food, friends and conversation.
