Langmeil 1843 Freedom Shiraz 2017
The Freedom 1843 is testament to the best of the Barossa, and the determination and independent vision of the Bitter and Lindner families at Langmeil, who have farmed in the district for five generations. A stunning Barossa Shiraz!
Winemaker Notes
Colour:
Deep crimson with purple hues.
Aroma:
A rich and intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, blueberries and ANZAC cookies, mingle with hints of cedar, licorice and sweet spice.
Palate:
Quite a mouthful of sweet, juicy fruit but balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spice and lovely, silky, tannins. A full bodied wine showing great complexity with hints of cedar and biscuit, which, in combination, flows through to the lengthy, fruitful and spicy finish.
