Chateau Mont-Redon Lirac 2020
Who doesn't love a Lirac, the baby brother of a Chateauneuf Du Pape.
The property has been in the family for four generations, and is one of the most prestigious producers in the southern Côtes-du-Rhône. The vineyards are situated on elevated terraces that are covered with large round stones and the wines produced are very characteristic of the soil in this region.
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre totally de-stemmed with ferment up to 3 weeks and aged 2/3 in tank and 1/3 in barrel for 18 months before assembling and bottling and ageing another 4 months under cork before sale.
