Wynns Chardonnay 2022
First produced in 1981, Wynns Coonawarra Estate Chardonnay demonstrates that Coonawarra can produce fine whites as well as fine reds. As a young wine Wynns Coonawarra Estate Chardonnay typically displays melon, fig and citrus fruit flavours while brief oak maturation offers subtle notes, playing a supportive role.

Nose:
Elegant bright citrus fruits are enhanced by delicate mineral notes, combined with subtle nectarine and white peach. Well integrated cashew notes are in the background from light French oak maturation.
Palate:
An amalgam of stone fruits provides great depth and complexity while subtle citrus notes adds length, creating a seamless palate. The balance between fruit, oak and acidity gives the wine precise line and length.
